At the end of the 18-month term, the Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform Project (DEKVEP), which was carried out in collaboration with BCSD Türkiye and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry with the assistance of the Istanbul Development Agency, was completed successfully.

EU Green Deal Seminars, Sectoral Workshops, Cluster Meetings, Industrial Symbiosis Workshops, and Open Innovation Meetings were organized with the contribution of hundreds of participants, focusing on the textile, plastic, and white goods sectors. Free and open to everyone training programs were organized with the "Carbon Footprint Certification Program" and "Circular Economy Business Models Innovation Certificate Program". While field visits and clean production studies were completed with 21 companies selected from 3 sectors in partnership with GTE Carbon, clean production and resource efficiency pieces of training were given to 41 company ambassadors selected from 21 companies.

The project's closing event, "Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Summit", was held in hybrid format on August 14, 2023, hosted by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

The opening speeches of the program were made by Istanbul Chamber of Industry Deputy Secretary General Burçin Değirmencioğlu and BCSD Türkiye General Secretary Konca Çalkıvik. The speech of Ece Dinsel, Environment and Urbanization Expert of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, titled "Turkey's Road Map for the Transition to a Circular Economy". The program continued with the speech given by Elif Berrak Taşyürek, Trade Expert of the Ministry of Commerce, under the title of "Steps to be Taken by the Industry to Comply with the EU Green Deal Along the Supply and Value Chain".

"Good Practices Panel" was held after the session in which Istanbul Chamber of Industry Environment and Energy Branch Manager Erbil Büyükbay and GTE Carbon Project Consultant Engin Koc shared the results of our project with the participants.

Under the management of BCSD Türkiye Business Development and Stakeholder Relations Manager Noyan Ergül; Following the "Good Practices Panel" held with the participation of Mete Plastik Quality and R&D Manager Hülya ÜSTÜNEL, Yorglass Environmental Engineer, Sustainability Committee Member Ebru ERDİ and Ezka Tekstil Environmental Engineer Figen Sürü, the program was completed with the certificate ceremony given to 21 companies participating in the project.
