The Circular Transition Indicators (CTI) framework is a universal framework to measure circularity, developed by World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to help businesses improve their circular performance to deliver solutions for a net-zero, nature-positive and equitable world.
CTI is a simple, unbiased and quantitative framework that measures the circularity of products, business processes or company by assessing the material input and product output. Whether a multinational business or a small/medium-sized enterprise, the Circular Transition Indicators (CTI) framework helps to incorporate circular thinking into mainstream, competitive strategies.
You can access the first version of the framework here available both in English and Turkish, translated by BCSD Turkey. The second version CTI v2.0 was published in February 2021 and it has been widely adopted around the world – totaling interest from 94 countries and 1800 organizations.
With the dedication for continuous improvement, CTI version 3.0 will be released. The new CTI v3.0 includes:
- A new methodology to quantify impact of circular strategies on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions;
- New indicators for lifetime extension;
- Extended guidance on taking action at scale.
As Turkey Circular Economy Platform, we invite companies to analyse and assess their circularity by using the CTI’s framework. Our aim is to accelerate companies’ circular transition through the CTI, which is developed as an objective framework, identifying risks and opportunities to determine circular priorities and set targets for companies.
Join the online launch event for CTI v3.0, on 11 May 2022 (10.00 AM or 4.00 PM CEST). Participate by completing your registration: Registration – CTI v3.0 Online Launch Event
