Şeyda believes there is always a way to produce without harming animals, human health or damaging the environment thanks to closed loop production. The aim of closing the loop is transforming business models for companies into circular ones. In other words, circular business models are the practical applications of the circular economy concept and give opportunities to companies to reduce consumption of raw materials, energy usage and waste generation. After work experience in various fields of Environmental Engineering which included designing systems and doing turn-key projects in the field of integrated pollution prevention and waste minimization, Şeyda continued to work focusing on NGOs to have a positive influence on the planet and society. She was involved in leading international marine litter and plastic pollution projects in Turkey.
